If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Fun diver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.

To enroll in a PADI Fun diver course you must be at least 15 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

For Discover Divers (Same Day)

After completing the initial Discover Scuba Diving Experience and Ocean dive, many people wish to participate in extra open water (Ocean) dives. You can do this whilst you are diving with us as your DSD Experience is valid during the length of your stay with us. Please note, this is not transferable to another location. If you leave Scuba Diving you will need to complete the entire DSD Experience at your new location before you will be allowed to dive again. This is a PADI requirement.

For Open Water Certified Divers

This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It's titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.

On request, videos of your dive adventure (1 minute maximum) will be given with a charge of ₹300.

No refund or compensation will be given for any unused equipment or prepaid / pre-booked courses or try dives in the event you are unable to complete the entire tour.



Cancelled more than 72 hours before course / trip commencement date: 75% Refund.

Cancelled within 72 hours to 48 hours of course / trip commencement: 50% Refund.

Cancelled within 48 hours of course / trip commencement: 0% Refund.


Drop Out on the 1st Day: Refund of Course fee will be 35% less.

Drop Out on the 2nd Day: Refund of Course fee will be 50% less.

Drop Out after 2nd Day: No Refund.

Failed Swim Test: No Refund.

Failed Dive Medical: No Refund.


Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancelled more than 15 days before course commencement date: Refund of Course fee will be 25% less.

Cancelled within 15 days of course commencement: No Refund.


We will endeavour to adhere to the advertised itinerary, but reserve the right to alter the itinerary or cut short the tour in the event of medical emergency, unfavourable weather conditions, government notifications or for reasons involving passenger, crew or vessel safety, at the sole discretion of the Master of the Vessel.

In the event that the advertised itinerary is altered or the tour is cut short in accordance with clauses below:

We will not be liable to provide a refund for your booking, or the unused portion of your booking.

We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any loss or out of pocket costs, howsoever caused (whether direct or indirect), as a result of the cancellation or change to the itinerary.

In the event of a mechanical breakdown, you accept that we will only be obliged to refund fees on a pro rata basis, and will not be responsible for alternative tours, nor will we be liable for any other direct or indirect loss, expense, inconvenience, or disappointment.

Karnataka Wreck And Scuba Diving reserves the right to change vessel, dive locations and price without notice. All trips are subject to force majeure.


Some medical conditions may preclude a person from diving please check the medical conditions on the medical form for further details.

Please note that any medicals required should be completed well before the day of departure. If in any doubt please contact your doctor prior to trip departure.

Upon arriving at our dive centre and before commencing any dive activities, we will require all customers to complete our liability forms. All information provided must be strictly accurate.

If during the tour it becomes apparent that a form has been incorrectly, by omission or false statement, we reserve the right to prevent any customer from undertaking any scuba diving / snorkelling activities while on board our vessel. Any decision made in this regard will be at the absolute discretion of the Dive Supervisor aboard the vessel.


We require all Certified Divers to present a valid Certification Card. Failure to show a Certification Card may result in the customer not being able to dive on the tour.

Our tours are subject to the risks and perils of scuba diving in changeable conditions in an open water environment. We reserve the right, for our customer’s safety and/ or the safety of our crew or other scuba divers, to prevent any customer’s participation in scuba diving if they are deemed physically or medically unfit to do so or in our sole discretion.

No refund is offered if you should be unable to complete all offered dives.

You must not participate in scuba diving or snorkelling whilst under the influence of alcohol or any drugs. We shall have no liability to any customer should they participate in diving or snorkelling whilst under the influence of alcohol or any drugs.

If any equipment or property belonging to us is damaged or lost we reserve the right to charge the customer responsible to make good the damage or loss.

To participate in scuba diving / snorkelling, all customers are required to agree to, and sign, our Liability forms relevant to the activity they will be undertaken.


You only need to wear some clothes you are comfortable with in the water. We recommend a pair of shorts and a T-shirt (as you are going to carry equipment on your back). We do have wetsuits, but those are only for heat insulation so when the water is warm they are not required.

We recommend to have sun block cream, cap, sun glasses and a towel with you, too.
